So, here we are again! Finally had an almost perfect clear sky night, if only the half-full moon didn’t throw too much illumination in the sky.
Nevertheless, it was a nice night with decent seeing and an imaging session has been long due.
This final image of Messier 51, a beautiful spiral galaxy approx. 30 million light years distant, was made with the following setup:
